The Oppression of Women is Rooted in Religion

On the website of Amnesty International it states “Around the world at least one woman in every three has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in her lifetime. Every year, violence in the home and the community devastates the lives of millions of women. Violence against women is rooted in a global culture of discrimination which denies women equal rights with men and which legitimizes the appropriation of women’s bodies for individual gratification or political ends.”

Although I agree with this statement, there is a spiritual component to this equation. Violence against women is first rooted in religion. The Creation story clearly explains that God Created Male and Female equal. He gave them the same blessing which included dominion over everything God created and over all the earth. Where it all went South is in the Garden story. When the King James Bible was translated into English from the original Hebrew text, changes were made concerning the Woman. Male Theologians continued teaching and preaching the errors and when it was all said and done, the Woman was responsible for bringing sin upon the entire human race and thus her penalty was that the Man would rule over her.

Of course it’s all a complete lie from the Devil! That’s right my dear Sisters, lies, lies, and more lies. That’s why it’s important for you to understand The S/he Identity. Through The S/he Identity, we are teaching Women the truth of God’s Word.

I encourage every woman to become a seeker of truth with a pure heart and an open mind. Don’t believe the lie! Let us help you discover your true identity in God and set you on a path of new-found freedom!
